How do you think of playing games?

When I was still at school,I played games every day,but not for a long time,maybe one hour per day,although one hour is not enough,my parents didn't allow me to play games on the Internet.They always think computer gemes will waste much of time and is bad for my study.When I have the entrace exam,I can't play games at all,which is so hard to me.In fact,I don't think there is no advantage for playing games,I think which is good for our study,we can't study every day,we need a break,relax,and games also make my mind much more active,do you think so?

Hi, chenvstony! I am addict to the game on internet as well, but I am not a student any more. You know, chenvstony, what your parents did is acctrually good for you! You should try your best to study for a better future! I was regret the time I've wasted in school. I found the oppotunities for me is much worse than who get a excellent education backgroud, so, I hope you good in your future, OK?

Hello there! I agree with you that we should take a break from work or studies once in a while and have fun. So that we'll feel refreshed and more inspired when we go back to doing our tasks. Too much of something is never good. May it be too much work or studies or too much having fun. I know some people who failed in their studies because of too much playing computer games and they are adults. So I guess everything should be done and moderation and depending upon the person's personality. If you can't really observe self-discipline and can easily get addicted to games then you should watch out for it. But if you have self-discipline, responsible and know your priorities well, then you shall be able to handle it.

Yes, playing is one way of relaxation to others like you who are fond of it.. and i think theres nothing wrong in playing in the internet! as long as you are not playing longer hours which your study habit maybe disrupted due to this.

i'm a big fan of spider solitaire since i had my first pc until now.i like the other games too but i always come back to spider solitaire. the funny thing is my father hate it everytime i play it on my computer.even until now !! he hates card games coz he thinks it can lead people to become a gambler,lol.
