Yes. It is a fact now. 36 or more newborn children died of irresponsiblity of the hospital staff. It happened in Trivandrum, capital city of kerala state, India in the span of last two months. The situation became worse when the hospital director board accused each other for the mishap. Who should be blamed? Government? Hospital board? Doctor? the attendnts? visitors who brings germs?

I had not heard about this. I wish that there were more details that I could find on this story. This is very sad. I hate to hear about babies dying, especially from negligence. Do you perhaps know what happened to cause the babies to die. I mean, were they neglected, over dosed. This is a lot of babies for a two month period. I hope that they fix whatever problems they are having, so that no more children die.

They say it was due to the contamination of hospital gynaecology ward.
