How many are into Star gazing ? do you know all constellations ?

I know a few of the constellations on the nothern side . The Ursa major, Cassiopia, Ursa Minor,auriga, the pole star.etc. On the elliptic line I can just recognise aries, taurus, picies, gemini, orion, scorpio and thats all. I am totally unaware of the southern map. Any help ?

I love star gazing. The funny thing is I have a degree in physics and astronomy but am HORRIBLE at picking out most constellations!
(And I think you mean ecliptic.)
