The other day it hit me I have been a Born Again Christian for 20 years. I have not forgotton what it felt like not to have Jesus in my life. I am so grateful for the knowledge of the love of God. If you are a Born Again Christian how long has it been for you!

Yes, I am. I have been one since 1979 and I'm glad I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Since then, as I look back into my life, there was never a moment that I felt God has forsaken me. He is always there to guide me, protect me and bless me. I have been hard headed and sometimes follow my own desire but God is so loving and kind and He never leave me. Instead, He directs my path and always forgive me. God is so wonderful!

Christianity in general is the religion of those who believe in Christ, as a unique revelation of God. It arose nearly 2000 years ago as a section within Judaism in Palestine. It accepted the first Jewish scripture as its own, but instead of the traditional belief of the Jews that the expected Messiah or Christ was yet to appear, it held that he had already appeared on earth in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. So Christianity centers around the life and message of the Jesus who was called Christ or the Messiah. He was the son of Virgin Mary upon whom the grace of the Lord had fallen. Jesus tried to teach everyone the Fatherhood of God and Brotherhood of man. Faced with opposition, he continued to be an example of living Truth and to purify society. Jesus could assert that his life was his message, for he lived among men as he advised them to live. Everyone has to start his spiritual pilgrimage proclaiming he is a servant or messenger of God. This is the stage of duality. Then he progresses to discover the divine within himself and realizes that God is his precious heritage, which he must claim and utilize. That is the stage when one feels he is the son of God. Finally he merges in God consciousness. This is the stage of non-duality. The 'I' when crossed out becomes the symbol of the cross. So what is really crossed out is 'I' or ego. Due to this doubt I'm not interested to born as christian again. Till today I'm not clarified in any forum.

John 3:3 why do you think the bible say unless a man is born again he will not see the kingdom of God? Do you think it is literal? He also said marvel not that I have said you must be born again! Also it the book of Peter it says..being born agin not of corruptable seed but of incorruptable by the word of God which living and induring. I guess in the long run we will never be able to figure it all out. We either believe or we dont' but before we choose not to believe for our lack of understanding we could at least ask of God to make himself know to us. If you are true in wanting to know him I am sure he will.
