Many like a smiling face and some may not - which one do you like

I depends of my mood. And there are different smiles. If the smile is ironical...or somebody laughes loudly arround me because of my saddness, it`s annoying.

Yes a smiling face is infectious and makes for a nice day. I do not like faces which are miser in smiling as it costs nothing to smile and it is also said that you exert more muscles in frowning as compared to smiling, so keep smiling and radiating warmth around you and world would be a better place to live in.
