Recently my adult daughter and I were talking about how we needed a freezer so that we could take advantage of some of the sales that the grocery stores get on meat and othe perishable things. Our current refrigerator/freezer just isn't big enough for a family of the five of us. Plus our house is small and the kitchen is so small that there isn't enough room for a table and chairs even so we don't have one. Anyway, any freezer we got couldn't be a big one anyway. So she's at a yard sale and sees a small, about five feet tall, upright Frigidaire freezer for $30. It's an older one so its not frostfree and its been closed for a while so it has a slight odor but its clean and it works. Plus she was able to get them to come down to $25. I can't believe it. It's absolutely perfect for our family needs and our kitchen size! So that would be the best find we've found recently.

Back when I was collecting Cabbage Patch Kids, I found a couple of foreign dolls (rather hard to come by) for $1 each at a yard sale. I just re-sold them on eBay last week for upwards of $30 each. Why can't I find things like that any more?!
