Since the first of January We have lost some great of Hollywood with the deaths of 9 actors and actress. The younger generation will probably not know any of them, unless they are into old movies. But they could act and not rely on all the action to entertain their audiences. They will be missed by the older generations. They are Gordon Scott first Tarzan during the 1950s, Kitty Carlisle Hart of Broadway fame , Barry Nelson, first James Bond 1954 TV version of 'Casino Royale, Calvin Lockhart “Let’s do it Again”, Singer Betty Hutton 'Annie Get Your Gun. Janet Blair from 40s musicals, Actress Marcheline Bertrand, who was Angelina Jolie's mother, Actress Yvonne De Carlo from the “Ten Commandments “ and Lily Munster on the Munsters on tv.

I was more of a fan of the UHF channels growing up so I watched alot of black and white movies. I bet if you said UHF no one would even know what you are talking about today its kind of like talking about 45's or 8 tracks.

Yeh I did watch the black and white, and loved the 8 tracks because you didn't have to keep resetting them. They could just repeat.

Hi! I hadn't known about Yvonne DeCarlo, but I did watch the Munsters all the time when I was a kid and of course, I've seen the Ten Commandments several times. I remember watching "What's My Line," and "To Tell the Truth," as a kid. People like Kitty Carlisle Hart and Soupy Sales were always on those shows. Good memories! :-)

Yes I enjoyed Yvonne DeCarlo on the Munsters too. The TV shows were so much cleaner than they are now. Thanks for stopping by.
