Do u love to watch movies at home or at theaters????

I dont go to the movie theatre that often, maybe once every 3-4 months sometimes if that. I collect dvds so I will buy them usually 1-3 new movies a week then sit down with my boyfriend to watch them. It is nice to go to the theatre once in awhile especially when they are playing a really good horror or action movie we will make the effort to go and see it. The sound effects are great at the movies and being able to watch it on the big screen. Snacks and drinks are so expensive though, my boyfriend and I can go there and spend $20 easily.

i like watching movies with my friends at theaters.it gives the right feeling and joy of watching a film.with nice sound qaulity and bgger screen.it is not just watching movies.when we watch the same movie at home,you cant enjoy as you did in theater. so i prefer watching them at theater!

hi shrenik. i would rather watch them at home, then at least i know i don't have to listen to someone else talking the whole time.. my friends just come to my house, i have complete surround sound and gives the same effect as going to the movie theater. have a good day:)

I like to watch movies in theatres that too in big and digital theatres. near my home there is theatre which shows films with very audio and video. I always enjoy music.so i will go to theatres to see a good film rarely once three months.I also enjoy films with snacks and whistles.

i prefer watching movies at home as i feel more comfortable at home.. if i go to the theater.. i have to off my cellphone.. and i can't do what i like.. for example.. if i want to stretch my leg.. i feel my movement is very limited in the theater.. compared to home.. i can stretch as much as i like.. i can also get a cup of coffee whenever i need it.. besides.. i can cook whatever i wan while watching the movie.. it's much more comfortable compared to the theatre.. well.. screen doesn't matter to me.. as long as i get to watch the movie.. i'm already very happy =)

i rather watch movies at home because you will be more comfortable in home than in theatres, you can choose whatever position you want, you can lie down and you can do whatever you wnt to do

If I had a grandspanking uber home theater, then I won't be leaving home ever again just to watch movies. Yeah, I won't be able to see the new releases but heck, I love the peace and quiet a personal viewing would give me. Theaters are just so full of unruly people. The seats are just not right and some theaters have some....um...smell :-) Then again, I dont' have a state of the art home theater so I have to make do with having to watch movies at cinemas.

I prefer going to the theater than home watching films, much larger screen and audio i guess

I'd love to watch movies at home ..cause I just love lazing around on my sofa while watching a movie holding a cushion and drinking coldrinks and even chatting with friends..! All this cannot be done in a theater unless and until you have your own personel home theater...lol So better option get your own personel HOME THEATER...!! lol Full of sound effects and and many more..

watching movies at theaters is always fun for me,i watch action and science fictions based movies in theaters than to watch it in home.but family drama based movies i watch at home.

Well am different, I mean watching movie need concentration. If one is watching movie in a noisy place how can one really get what the message of the movie? I don't like watching movie in a noisy place, but when it comes to watching country's football I can somehow watch it in a noisy place, eventhough am not a football fan. Thanks

Hi.....Shrenik007!!I also like to watch movies in multiplexes.It's true that multiplexes make the difference.In Home theatre system one cannot get the proper taste of the movie like in multiplex.Because in multiplex you watch the movie in a dark hall, you can not see anything else except the movie which makes you attentive into it.But in home you can get distracted by the surroundings due to the home not beeing so dark as multiplexes,you can be called due to some urgent reason by anyone present at your home at that timewhich can distract you etc. etc.. apart from this I agree to all other causes you have shown in your posting.I love to eatch movies also with friends,cold drinks,fodd stuffs, etc. etc.

For me, i prefer watching movies at home coz i don't have to spend money. LOL, At times i just rent movies and watch them all at home. I seldom watch movies at the theater because i really don't have that much money to watch one. I only watch when my sister will gonna pay for the movie ticket. Lol

Generally I like to watch at home because it's cheaper, I can eat healthy snacks, I can pause or rewind if I have to get up or I miss something, and I can lay on the couch. Every once in a while it's nice to have the theater experience with the sound, the huge screen, and the crowd reaction.

I can't afford to go the the movie theatre very often so I prefer to watch at home. I have the advantage at home of being able to have snacks and drinks to hand, and am very comfortable on the sofa.

I watch movies more and more at home now. I subscribed to a movie channel and I have a nice sound system. Though, I agree with you that watching movies at theaters, especially comedies, is much more fun because of the atmosphere.

I was just talking about this with my boyfriend because of Spiderman 3 opening today. I think that we both decided that we like watching movies at home better. At the theater, there are too many people...someone is often kicking the back of your chair, or leaving their cell phone on. The worst is when you have people around you who talk! I guess I'm just not too much of a perple person :-) Watching movies at home I can stretch out and relax, have whatver snacks I want, rewind or pause if need be, and not have to worry about people walking over me to get to the bathrroom. That said, I usually can't wait that long to see certain movies so we go to maintnees where they are usually less people than at a night time movie. That works pretty well for us.

Nothing beats seeing things on the big screen in the cinemas - it's just a little inconvenient for me to go since there's no cinemas close by & also there's always the chance some people will ruin the movie for others - talking, kids screaming & crying, mobile phone etc. So, i went out & bought a big screen TV, surround sound system & a comfortable couch so we can buy or hire movies & sit at home, in comfort to watch the movies from home! Plus, it's definitely cheaper to stay home, pick up things from the supermarket for snack & drinks, then you pay a LOT less money to hire a movie than to pay for a cinema ticket!

I would prefer to watch movies at moviehouses. I can see the actors better. I can see everything, every move. I can feel their dialogue delivery. While at home their are many disturbances, like when the telephone rings, when the dog barks,when somebody rings the doorbell. Or when your kids yell at one another. Unless you have a soundproof home theater. And don't forget to put the sign DO NOT DISTURB!
