Kissing has many meanings. You kiss a person to show your love and affection. You kiss a baby to show your love. You kiss to say goodbye. You kiss on the lips, cheeks, forehead or hands. I wonder whether a kiss can transmit unnecessary germs from one to another? What do you think? French kiss, anyone?

it's told over and over again that some cute little creatures exist in our mouths and should cause panic to those who do the french kiss. but on the contrary, if i'm not mistaken, i have read that kissing do helps in improving our immune system because the transmittal of these harmless creatures stimulate the immune system just like a vaccine does. in any case, i do still require my girl to brush her teeth before any kissing takes place. i do need germs, but i don't need more than what's needed! :)

I have never heard of that before. Does kissing really boost your immune system?

theoretically speaking, if you introduce foreign agents to your body (for example, microbial agents), the body's immune system will be stimulated to create antibodies against that type of microorganism - that's how vaccines really work by theory, since vaccines are actually innoccous or harmless versions of certain viruses that stimulates the immune system to create the antibodies. antibodies that were manufactured remain throughout our life, that's why if you get chicken pox, you're not bound to have that again, because if the viruses enters your body, the antibodies are already there to kill it right away without you knowing it. whew. that's a long one. ;)

When feelings raise under you, you don't see any kinds of germs. When you deadly want to had a french kiss then if it would be germ himself you will kiss him.

i'm sure a nice long passionate french kiss with you would be worth any germs i might get. I have a feeling that the positive feelings i would get would enhance my imune system so that any germs could be easily dealt with by my body.
