Which city has the biggest populations in the world?

Actually this is a trivia question. I already knew the answer. Just want to see how many users out there knew about this fact. In fact, I myself just knew it just couple days ago :)

This is one of those questions that can have several answers. Some may say Tokyo if you include all the other cities it has engulffed but i will have to go for Mumbai, think its got about 13million

In that case it is Tokyo, in excess of 30 million people i believe. 2nd is mexico city and i forget whats 3rd. Do i win?

I thought that it would be Tokyo, but my whole geographic concept of the world has recently been destroyed. Apparently, as in France they have just had elections, the city with the 8th largest French population is London, which I had always thought was the capital of England/UK!
As it is well-known that the French regard Brits as badly dressed, unfashionable, snobs with no ability to cook, I can only assume that London must have been given to the French by Tony Blair (he has hoped to give Gibraltar to the Spanish!). No self-respecting French person would move to Britain, eat our food, and shop in our clothes shops!
That said, I'm worried that the Spanich may find Alicante holding a referendum on whether to become an English county, as there are thousands of English ex-pats living in the lovely Spanish sunshine.

Well i dont want to guess so i researched and found out that the most polulated city in the world is Tokyo, Japan.
