A Feather .....Message

When my father passed away in 1995 a friend who was very spiritual and at that time I was not told me how she was told that a feather found in an unusual place or on a special occasion can be a message form a loved one, I was told to watch for a feather....the first Christmas after my father passed away I went to the cemetry and standing up in the grass near his grave I saw this large white feather I remembered what my friend told me and from then on I found feathers in very strange unexplanable places and at some very special times, in particular when other special people in my life passed away I always found a feather, I have since heard a few people talking of feather messages, does anyone else believe in the feather message.

that's the first time i have heard about the feather messages. what i know is about butterflies. that when someone you love / close to you passed away, and then you see butterflies on certain occasions, then it means, as they say, that that person is there is spirit celebrating with you. when my father passed away in 1996, i saw butterflies on special occasions since...and what's special about it is, they happen to look like the same butterfly each time.

I have read that messages can come in the form of many things....it makes me very happy when I find a feather and I have found them at the right time in strange places...

I heard that if out of the blue a feather flies down on you, this means a spirit is trying to communicate with you. I saw that on TV once but I forgot which channel and what show. It was many years ago. I never have that experience at all and you are the first person to say this for real. I thought it was only one of those things they made up on TV.

I was told that once you open your mind to it, it happens, I have some amazing happenings that when I have told people they too become believers and it is makes me very happy when they get back to me with their feather happenings, I also have been told it can be other things as well, but maybe because the people who were close to me after my first feather find knew of my belief when they passed away it was their way to ease my pain as well, I have found feathers at times when I really needed a friend...truly amazing...

The feather message is mentioned in many books and even in movies, you can see a feather coming from the chocolate box in the movie Forrest Gump.....

I don't know if it is related to people who have passed away, but I do feel it is related to something spiritual and angelic. Often when I find a feather I can't help pick it up. There is a softness and lightness about a feather that gives me tingles as if a presence is saying hello.
