Have you ever put your daughter in one? What do you think of them? How was the outcome? I put my first daughter in one when she was 7 months, she got a few awards but it was just fun to watch her, i thought it was cute, its the only one she has been in.

Yes , I did. I let her joined the Li'l miss earth pageant. Just recently. She is 9 years old. I love it when she is having fun with other kids, socializing with them. I want her to develop her talent and personality. She is really a shy girl. I was surprised that she made it on stage, dancing in front of many people. I told her that it does not matter if she loses. It is the value and the friendship that she gets from joining the pageant. Fortunately she was given the title "Best Smile". If ever she likes to join again I will support her. But if our children do not want to get into this, we should not force them.

I have never put her in to a beauty pageant but I did put her into modeling school to teach her etiquette. I would like to put my granddaughter in one though.

Child beauty pageants are not really a big thing around here. I have never heard of any being held in our area. I have never entered my daughter in one. She has never really been a girly girl, she's more of a tomboy and I know she wouldn't be interested at all.

I had placed my daughter in one when she was under a year old. It was something fun to do but I never wanted to make a "job" of it. She took 3rd place out of about 50 or do little ones. She was also a model for a company here. Nothing ever really came of it but she has some great photos. My daughter has the perfect looks, blonde hair and blue-grey eyes, fair skin ect.. But now that she is grown-up a little if she chooses to pursue this, I will help her every step of the way, personally I hope she doesn't.
