All foods, whether packaged or fresh, stand the risk of getting spoiled if they are not stored properly. We may think that by refrigerating food, we have obviated risk of food spoilage, but is that true?

I would think that putting food in the refrigerator helps the food to not get spoiled faster than if we left it at a normal temperature. The freezer definitely stops food from getting spoiled. I have a freezer and I can sometimes store my food there for several months.
