Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton has been jailed for 45 days after being found guilty of violating her probation for a drink-driving conviction. A Los Angeles judge ruled she must start her sentence on 5 June and has no prospect of an early release. She has a love/hate relationship with the public. More hate than love I suspect. In her case... she became famous for being hated... and her going to jail will probably make her even more famous. Expect her picture on the front cover of every magazine this week. She also have a month to appear on every TV show before going to jail. So what are your thoughts? Are you happy to see her going to jail? Seem that money is not everything after all... if you cannot buy yourself a free ticket out of jail. And what's the story with her mother? Her mother, Kathy, laughed when the demand for a custodial sentence was made during the prosecution's closing argument and asked Judge Michael Sauer for his autograph. Perhaps... like in most cases... Paris Hilton is what her mother brought her up to be.
