Buyers on eBay or other selling sites - pet peeves or likes?

When you buy on eBay or other online sites, what is it that really annoys you? What are you pet peeves? Also what do you like to see in listings or customer service that keeps you coming back for more? As both a buyer and seller I can see both sides of this issue. I don't like when I purchase something and then don't hear from the seller. I dislike descriptions that leave too many questions unananswered. I like when sellers email or contact me about when they're going to ship the item I bought, when they give me a business card or a little surprise in their package and when they look they cared about how they packaged the item. What about you?

i like it when the seller ships worldwide and include the shipping cost on his/her listing. since i dont live in the USA, i only can look at those that ships internationally, only then i can consider to buy/bid the item.

We siip worldwide but it is so hard to include the shipping costs especially by using the eBay calculator. There's such a difference in prices depending on what country you ship to. I wish there were a solution to that so that we didn't have to wait for people to contact us about the shipping costs. Thanks for your suggestion. What do sellers use that you've looked at?

thanks so much for the best response hehe :D ..emm..well there are sellers which have this drop down country list in their listings, whereby we can choose our country and then the shipping cost will appear for that particular country. i'm not sure how they do that though? to me, it's ok, i dont really mind because i do contact sellers to ask them about the shipping cost if it's not stated in their listing, it's no biggie ^_^..just that sometimes it would be a bit difficult to track hehe. like i have to remember..oh from seller A, the shipping cost to my country is $Z, from seller B it's $X, but if it's written in the listing, then it would be convenient to the buyers, that's all :) are you a regular seller on eBay?
