Did you know that on its international opening day on May 1, 2007 in 16 territories, SPIDERMAN3 grossed $29.2 million, an 86% increase from the intake of SPIDERMAN2 on its first day of release. In 10 of the 16 territories, SPIDERMAN3 set new opening day records. In Asian territories, the film surpassed the opening-day record of SPIDERMAN2 in Japan and South Korea. SPIDERMAN3 also set opening day records in Hongkong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and in the Philippines. In Europe, the film broke Italy's opening day record, surpassing the da vinci code (2006). In germany, the superhero film surpassed the success of SPIDERMAN2. In france, SPIDERMAN3 broke the opening day record previously set by Star wars episode III: Revenge the Sith. As of May 4, 2007 on the movie review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, SPIDERMAN3 has a 61% critic rating from 166 reviews, with a 45% Cream of the Crop rating based on 36 reviews. Andy Khouri of Comic Book Resources praised the film as, "easily the most complex and deftly orchestrated superhero epic ever filmed... Despite the enormous amount of charaters, action and sci-fi superhero plot going on in this fil, SPIDERMAN3 never feels weighted down, tedious or boring. Jonathan Ross, a big Fan of the comic book, felt the film was the best of the trology. Empire's film critic Chris Hewitt found the film satisfactorily, feeling Maguire and Franco did well in their roles, though he critized the decision to have so many villains. john Hartl of MSNBC gave SPIDERMAN3 a good review, but stated that it has some flaws such as having "too many storylines". Tom charity of CNN also gav the fil a positive review, stating that it "represents the best and worst of the series". No doubts that everyone is seeking this movie. Personally I haven't watch this movie but i want too. Hopefully, by tomorrow i'll be able to watch this with my cousin. To those who watched it already, why don't you share your opinion:)
