My worst experience would be my latest trip. It was a flight to rome and the weather was so bad that it was all dark outside. A couple of times the plane went into a turbulence and it shook quite badly. That was one time i wished i was back on dry land. I was so relieve that the plane finally landed. Any of you had a bad experience on plane?

Yes, I have! The problem was I was going to Spain, and I was sitting at the aisle with two seats, well this obese woman (also from my country) was assigned to sit beside me. I couldn't believe it! I was practically squashed in my seat! It was pretty horrible, but she was very nice. I am not sure how she used the bathroom since she was so big. What I mean is that she was around 200 kilograms (around 400 pounds) so you know she took up a lot of space. To be honest, I felt that she should have paid for two seats. Since she was so nice and she was talking a lot I really didn't mind too much. Moreover, I was sleeping most of the time anyway. Have a nice day. Pablo

Once I was in a small four seater plane in a rain and wind storm. It was a pretty rocky with quite a few drops. I was ever so thank you that it was only a half hour plane ride to Long Beach near Victoria Bc. Another one could have been a bad one when we landed in Paris and the pilot refuse to take off again due to engine trouble. So we had the pleasure of being put up in a hotel for the night and served a wonderful dinner on the airlines expense!

Yeah, one time just before the plane touched ground he had to lift again coz he realised that he was to far ahead and would not be able to break before the landingplace ran out =) THAT was scary. I was also in one where we went into turbulance and had to use the oxygen masks... That was the only time I wished i had never gotten on the plane.

I actually have had some really decent flights on airplanes. Although I have to say that the seats and the room available are extremely uncomfortable. The last flight I was on was so cramped. There was this really huge guy in front of me that just wouldn't sit still. I was trying to watch the movie and he get getting his big head in my way. And he just had to have his seat reclined. My knee was so cramped by the time I was at my stop I could barely walk. The next time I fly, I am flying first class. :) Have a nice day Augustta! mahmah

Yes, there's nothing worse than that turbulence. We hit bad weather coming into Spain a few years back. We hit an air-pocket and the plane dropped very quickly a few hundred feet and I could feel my stomach in my throat - LOL.. I was pleased to be on land again too. Been OK since then though.

I don't know if I should feel shamed but anyway my answer to this question is : No because I didn't had any experience with air travel. Believe it or not I leave close the the airport I see many planes daily but I have never been in one. I'm not sure I'll enjoy my first travel by plane but I'm anxious to give it a try.

That is a very good question because i havent been in the plane ;P. Ok fine cool, i havent been in it, but my sister has travelled. Once she was travelling to US and on the way it seems the plane started jerking as you said. All the passengers along with my sister got scared, but then the captain announced not to worry, it was just due to bad weather. It seems she lost her life for a minute during that time!

Yes, I had an interesting experience on plane just once.I was flying to Jordan and it was a Royal Jordalian flight. The experience wasn't really in midair. It was foggy and the plane couldn't land for a long time, but later decided to land in the bad light and bad weather. As it landed the tail hit the ground sharply and the plane bumped many times like a car does when moving over several bumps. For a while I thought the plane is going out of control.I wasn't exactly scared and rather amused.Perhaps I somehow didn't believe that I could have a plane accident ,lol.

Yes I have one about a decade ago, there was a storm but our plane was allowed by authorities to fly,it's not as dangerous. The turbulence really shook the plane hard and my co-passengers were already praying the rosary, but I felt exhilaration when we disembarked. Isn't there a saying that after the storm, there's always a rainbow. ;D

Hi Augustta, I only flew on two planes. One thing that did happen is that I was in the bathroom when they announced to put on your seat belts. I was scared since it was the first time I had been on a plane. Then I new why! Turbulence and lots of it. I got out of the bathroom as soon as I could. LOL

It has been a few years since I have been on a plane, but I have actually never had a bad experience at all. Every time I have flown it has always been a pleasant flight. I guess I have been lucky so far.

Hello, augustta,i did not have much travel experience and luckily i did not have any bad experience on the plane, I think it must be a scary experience for you, so how did other people react in that situation, did people think it was only a normal turbulence or did they reckon it was a big one??

Yes I had a bad experience and it has made me almost scared to fly. I was sitting next to a lady who had never flown before and every time the plane hit any turbulance or turned or anything she grabbed my hand. I tried to tell her it was okay and was normal, but she was so terrified. She started thinking every noise meant something was wrong and everytime the stewardess walked down the isle she thought something was going on. I'd always enjoyed flying, but she had me so jittery, that I don't really like flying anymore.
