Some students prefer to study alone while others prefer to study with a group of students. Which do/did you prefer? and why? I kind of liked doing both. but not big groups for studying - just me and one other or maybe 2 others. sometimes being in a group can become a distraction...but having another person with you can help keep you on track and keep you from being bored. it is useful for asking/answering questions to have another person with you.

I don't normally study lol. Quite rare if I do. I normally do it alone unless I can find someone to study with me (for discipline).

I think having a buddy (so long as he is cooperative) there is an excellent means of discipline.

I'm like you. I don't mind a small study group to throw thoughts around and to help each other to prepare for exams. Mostly, I'd prefer studying on my own. I really don't like it when teachers force kids into groups and you're graded on a group effort instead of your individual effort and knowledge. I remember always having at least one peer that wouldn't do anything in the group and they always got the grade because the rest of us worked hard for it.

I always did best on my own. I could study 2 min before an exam and pass. I always took good notes, so right before a class, I would study my notes. By taking the notes in the first place, I had already imprinted the information in my head. The quick "refresher" study just helped jog my memory. I found others to be distracting and somethimes even confusing. I much rather study on my own.
