I was, we were 3.5 years apart and would always hang out together. We loved bowling, dancing, playing pool, watching movies together, going to concerts together..you name it, we did it. Do you still live close to each other? Not me. We live 6 hours wasy from each other. Her is SoCal and I in NorCal. I love her so much. She is my best friend. We just do not talk as much as we used to. Especially since we now how children and are busy almost 24/7.

Me and my sister are two years apart and just like you, we'd do everything together. We even liked the same movies, same songs and the same stars. I am married now, and she is busy completing her studies, and we live quite far away.. over 1500km, atleast, maybe even 2000, I am not sure. Thats quite a distance and we get to meet up a few times a year, but we do keep in touch through the telephone and though mails.

i only have one sister and when we were still kids,we tend to argue all the time so it's not a good idea to put us in the same room...there were a lot of issues involving us both like she always envies me and tells me that i'm the favorite child and she hates it.. but when we became both a mom, that's when the relationship started to get better..as we learn that we only have each other to turn to especially at times when we realized that it's really hard being a mother at a very young age..so now,i can say that we're close and that we could talk almost about anything...and i'm glad that i have a sister like her..

Well you seemed to enjoy each others company. In my case, I was not close to her, we were opposites and we fight very often as young siblings. But then when she started college and we got separated for sometime when she was assigned far from our place in her apprenticeship in her chosen career things changed. I suddenly found out that I missed her and the friendship started there. When i finished my college and went working we seldom meet and bond but everytime we meet we see to it that we share what we have to share as brother and sister. Now that we have both our family the more we became far apart and also closer to each other by heart. She is now working abroad and I am left here in our country. Communications is via the net only and everytime we have the chance then we enjoy the time left.

Although my youngest sister and I are seven years apart, I have always been closer to her than my other sisters who are closer in age. I guess it is because they are both older than I am and were closer in age to each other. To them, I guess I was always the annoying younger sister who they did not really want hanging around, so we really did not get as close although we did hang out a little more when I reached my teens. I guess we are all busy with our own lives these days so we just do not visit much anymore. We all still live within Michigan, and only one lives more than 1/2 hour drive away.

Im the oldest im 24, i have two younger sisters one is 23 & the other is 19 so were pretty close in ages. All while we were growing up were all pretty close..i mean dont get me wrong we had our arguments and fights but as soon as someone would try to mess with one of us we had each others back 100%. Now as grown women we dont even argue that much and if we do were over it in 5 minutes. We had some bad fights when we were younger but i would not trade them 2 girls for anything... and i know they feel the same bout me :)

My sister is 6 and a 1/2 years older then me. We are very close. We have been room-mates most of our adult life. We still live together now. I help her with raising her daughter. She's my best friend as well. I don't know what I'd do without her. Life just wouldn't be the same without her in my life.

My sister and I are 3 years apart and we were really close when we were growing up. We're only two siblings in the family so that made us closer. We had our usual fights and it was often then, maybe because we were still young and immature. But when she worked abroad as a flight attendant after college, that's when I realized how much important a part of my life she has been for I missed her terribly. We both have kids now and we're lucky to be together in our parents' house. I guess it will be very hard to keep us apart. :)

My sister and I are only 11 months apart. I was an oops baby = ) We fought like cats and dogs when we were kids, disagreed on everything in our 20's and 30's, but are best friends now that we are in our 40's pushing 50. I can't imagine my life without her now. Wish I had realise what a great person she was years ago.

Your post made me really sad. Im just going through the early phases of this myslef and I dont know how to handle it. Im 21, my sister is 17 and I only moved out on my own about 8 months ago. Already I am noticing a huge change. She is the closest friend that I have and the connection that we have is beyond anything that ive ever experienced. When I lived at home, we would do everything together, watch movies, tv, play tennis, go to the mall, we were always together. We're still very close now but I feel like we're rapidly losing our connection. It gets me crying just thinking about our closeness in past tense. I talk to her every 4 days or so for like 20 min on the phone. I feel like ive lost someone. I live with my boyfriend and work full time, and she has a boyfriend now and she works and goes to school, its really hard to get together. Im so scared that we'll grow apart. We're already starting to:-(

I have four sisters and one brother and yet even we are a big family I was never close to one of them. We pretty much not close to one another. I don't know if its because we have different personality or we just don't really get along with each other.

My sister and I have have 6 years age gap. But still we managed to be close to each other. I love my sister so much and I can say that she did her best to cope and relate to my problems even when we were young. When I was younger, my mom and I always argue on different things. But my sister, although she's 6 years younger, understands me and knows a great deal on how she can explain my side to our mother. She served and is still serving as the bridge between me and my mother whenever we have misunderstandings. ALthough we have different personalities, different tastes when it comes to food, I can say that we share the same fondness toward each other. We may have little fights, but we can sort it out together.

I was my sister was alot olser than me like 15 years older so she spoiled me and now I am 25 and she is 40 but she is my bestest friend ever we have lost both of our parents one to a heartattack and one to cancer and if I hadnt had her to lean on I dont know what I would have done she is my right arm and I love her so much. ALways keep yours close even though you are far apart you are still close in heart.

I only have one sister. We're seven years apart. We still live in the same house. Sleep on the same matress. And sometimes, if we're really lazy, we'd eat from one plate.. Ewww.. I know it might seem a bit disgusting but she spoon feeds me and vice versa. Growing up, I really wished I had a brother instead because most of the time, she'd be pickin on the toys I'm playing with. The funny thing is if I let her play with it, she breaks it in half!! hehehe I even remember during the peak of the Baywatch series, we would wear our bathing suits and pretend we were swimming on the bed. I dont regret having a sister for a sibling. We're as close as ever and even my cousins envy us for being sweet and inseparable. We're always together, gigling, sharing boy secrets and even shopping together. But till now, she still breaks some of my things in half ΓΌ
