Well ATI has yet to release a dx10 card so NVidia beats them altogether in that category. The cards that ATI is slated to release will not be as fast as the GeForce 8800GTX so the best all around will still be NVidia. ATI has made an odd decision to just be mediocre. They are going to try to compete with the GeForce 8600 and 8800GTS on the best bang for buck field, but I don't think they have a chance. NVidia has had these cards out for a while and has had time to produce stable drivers. My experience with ATI has shown them to make alot of bad drivers that often won't even install properly. Frankly, I think it'll be a while before this dx10 crap matters since it is only supported by Windows Vista and is only slated to be used in a small number of games. At this point I still don't think there is a single dx10 game out there.

What are we comparing here. ATI with driver issues with a card which is 6 months old and as a matter of fact if my facts are right it has 64 DX9 shader piplines so expect better performance. OK well DX10 has a problem nothing to check only demos for which driver are no optimised for. BIG DEAL. ATI is BETTER.
