Optical Mouse or a Mouse Ball?

Hello,jamian,of course everyone will prefer the optical mouse tot the mouse ball. When some dust have been accumulated on the surface of the mouse ball, you will find it hard to control and soon after that you have to discard it when the dust is trapped inside. Optical mouse lasts longer and you can move freely ,you do not need a mouse pad when using it

I prefer an optical one as pbvious it is , but i didnt hated my ball mouse either , i liked it because it was very stylish , the only problem was its maintainance..

I prefer optical mouse... of course because it is more convenient to use.. maybe that is why it was invented.. to make our lives more comfortable..

I prefer the optical mouse too, for the same reason. The only odd thing about the optical mouse is that I still end up with dirt, it's just on my desk instead of on the track wheels inside the mouse!

Well hi to you jamian.... People prefer optical mouse. Its best, easy to use and convinient. A new technology revolution in computer peripherals. Thats what optical mouse4 is, isnt it? But Dont know why, I like Ball mouse. It may be bacause I just love it. When I learned computers I started with it, thats why. One can never forget those things from which he begin, so how could I? I think I'm a bit traditional. So what? I except it in Public and I'm not ashamed of it. Any ways a good question by you.

an optical bluetooth mouse is a cool gadget, you could do your pointing from anywhere you are that is if you can still see the cursor from where you are. i know because i tried it and it's ok because it has no cables.i just tried it but not using it , i am on a laptop and i use a tracker.

definitely the optical.cuz it used to be a pain to have my cursor jump around the screen wen the mouse needed cleaning.no such probs wit da optical mouse.n i can also use my old mouse's ball as sum kinda fun thing.;)

hi jamian! based on my experience..it's better to use a mouse ball because it lasts longer..unlike the optical mouse that i've just used for only 2mos. which broke afterwards..so that's why we came into using a mouse ball again..

Yes, 100% I vote for the optical mouse. The ball mouse is getting on my nerves. After a while it is unusable.
