too much love can kill you?

know that love is an all encompassing thing. there is nothing to it outside of being good, patient, caring, loving, giving, understanding, selfless, others more to follow - everything that's good and we desire to have in a relationship, all the positive qualities that we can think of. there is no such thing as too much love, for love is perfect in itself. jealousy and obsession is not rooted from love. it comes forth from selfishness and insecurity. a selfish person wants the object of his affection and attention for himself alone. an obsessed person thinks at all times of the object of his attention and even thinks that if he finds that there is something wrong that he finds in watever that she does, he can do to such lengths as even kill or harm anyone who crosses his path. this is a situation/condition that no one, in his right mind, desires.

There are many stories of different people which prove that too much love can kill. It depends on how worse the situation has become because of it. Anything that is too much is not good and is not healthy, it's good you've gotten out of the situation.

i think in a way it really does kill..i mean it'll end up with that because abusing anything has a really bad effect to the involved people

To love someone that much is not a good thing to do. If you become overprotected, it will destroy your relationship at the end. I agree with you when you say that jealousy, obsession and also insecurity are rooted from too much love that you have for your loved one. It is better for us to love ourselves more rather than giving all to the person that we loved so much. At least, when you fall, you can still stand up and move on...
