Two television icons have died recently. Both were actors I grew up watching in different shows over the years.
Comic actor Tom Poston, who won an Emmy on the "Steve Allen Show" and was Emmy nominated for "Newhart," "Mork and Mindy" and "Coach," died April 30 in Los Angeles after a brief illness. He was 85.

Dabbs Greer, a veteran character actor who played the Rev. Robert Alden in the TV show "Little House on the Prairie," died Saturday. He was 90.
Greer, a Missouri native, died after a battle with kidney and heart disease.

Tom Poston is the one I recognize. I'm sure I've seen Dabbs Greer, but I'm not as familiar with his name. His face could be a completely different scenario though.
It's nuts when we hear of stars we grew up with dying. It's like you lose someone you know.
