Oh, yeah, a concert is a place where humans, especially girls, me included, are at their most primitive survival stance. The stronger ones, and the wilder ones make it to the front, and the weaker ones, well, we all know what happens to them.
So, recently we were at this concert, it was a rock concert of Pakistani singer "Atif Aslam", who by the way is a really good live performer.
Now, I'm proud to say that I'm a hell of a survivor, now I was of course in front, and there was this one time, where the singer was tossing out and in some cases, handing out CDs to the people. Now I was in front and really energetic too, and I don't mean to brag but well, you know, when you're in front and really rocking out well the performers do notice, so anyway, atif like hands a CD to me, and all of a sudden there are like 5 pairs of hands and they are all grabbing at the CD.
Now, I don't mean to brag but I am a pretty strong girl, I mean, I might weigh a 123 pounds but I'm really strong, so I held on to that CD and I'm not sure about this, but I think I also might have pulled down a girl to her knees too. No catfights, though.
So, I held on it really tight, and I didn't let go, and although there is crack on the CD case now, at least I have it with me, ha ha. And it was for me anyway.
See, sometimes it's nice not to be ultra skinny and have some strength in ya!!
I guess most people become a different person at places like that, where on some level or another, the survival instinct kicks in. It was really very funny though.
Do you have any unconventional survival instinct stories of your own? The funnier the better!!

Girl, trust me ,you haven't seen nothing at all.Have you ever been to a rock concert? Now thats a place where there's survival of the fittest. You don't have chairs or seats like the other pop concerts and the shows are just wild but, in a good way though.Thats all because of the energy released in performing rock.Man there's nothing like a rock concert.I've been to a couple of them and i just love it.
But there's the other side of the coin too --the deadly MOSH PIT.If you get into a mosh pit, you can be sure to break atleast a bone off your body.Sounds scary huh?But thats the truth. The idea of a mosh pit is to carry a person and just pass him/her around the audience. Its something like a stage dive but here its more dangerous because you are pulled to be carried by the audience and they don't really care for you cuz they dont know you.I've never been in a mosh pit ever but i wish i could be some day.*loves to do daring stuff yet hates to be called a dare devil*

I would love to be at a rock concert, as it's my favorite type of music, and the fact that I just love to rock out!!!
The mosh pit does sound exciting. I hope I get to be in one some day. Don't worry, I'm not that fragile, I like to be the tough one, and I think this would be a great place to be to prove that.

The ultimate place for survival at a concert is the mosh pit. I remember me and a few mates went to this concert and went mental in the mosh pit and this guy thought he'd try and be clever and punch people down in there (he actually hurt this girl in there, which made my blood boil)...until he got to me. I'm 6 foot tall and I'm quite a hefty weight! anywas he hit the back of my head and I picked him up bodily and threw him right out the pit! Can't think why be me and my mates were left alone for the rest of the night.

The most pit, is an section in the crowd where people usually go mental going beyond the usual headbanging stuff, and sometimes on the odd occaision breaks out into a fight. I have been lucky and only got caught in a skirmish once, and I wasn't the one worse off!
As for fights in the mosh pit, I don't fight if I can help, but make sure that people do not get too silly, while enjoying myself...it must be the security guard in me!

Thas'nice. No, not the experience but the way you handled the situation and the C.D. Well, in developing countries you can have such experiences almost everywhere. In the market place if you are looking to go through a half a kilometer road without touching anyone then its like looking to clear the last stage of a tough P.C. game on the very first day you are playing it.

haha, that's a good way to put it, a really great example, and now that you put it this way, I totally get what you mean, I like game analogies and do understand them well, so I can clearly imagine what it must be like in the situation you described.
Even though the CD situation was good, the whole experience was also awesome!!!
