The time has come...

A few of my Husky pups - This was taken when we took them outside right after they got their deworming medicine. I couldn't get all of them in picture but that's the majority of them.

Today is the day that my puppies are going to their new homes. So I'm probably going to be a little on the sad side today. I know they are going to good homes and I will still be able to see them when I want to because they are all staying in the same area. It is still going to be different now that they all will not be around. I still have tons of pictures of them to last;-). Well, I need to get ready and go so I can get ready for them to leave as there is still a few last minutes things to be done. That's a picture of my babies. There is actually 6 of them but I could only get 5 in the photo as the other one is being held by her daddy who was there for a visit.

Those are some really beautiful dogs. I can understand why you would be sad. Its kind of like sending your kids off to live their own life. I have had puppies before so I know how you feel. I always tell the people that if it doesn't work out to please bring them back. Of course my boyfriend will stand there and shake his head no.lol.

Very true..we also told everyone that bought one from us if there is any problem just to bring them back to us. That goes for if they change their mind down the road or whatever. The best thing tonight was that one wife surprise the husband with one of the puppies and he thought it was a joke and that we were gonna say, "sike" and take the puppy back. When he realized that it was his to keep he started to cry. It was a good feeling because I know that puppy will be loved to no ends and spoiled rotten. :-)

They are so cute. I've never been thru this experience but I'm sure it is going to be hard. It sounds like it is going to be nice that they are going to be close and you can still see them. Maybe knowing they are in good homes and the people who have are happy and excited about getting them will help you.

I think it will help me out some. I look forward to seeing how they grow up and act when they are a little older. I know the new owners are really excited especially the guy that was crying last night, lol. He plans on taking her to work with him and run with him in some marathons which is really good for this type of dog. Thanks again for the response.

Oh, how cute they are. At least you will be seeing them, watch how they grow and you can help if there are problems in the new home. Don`t worry, the puppies will be busy discovering their new homes and masters. They really don`t have time to miss you much. But your home will be so quiet all of a sudden! I know, I had puppies, too. Such a joy. But I never gave them away all at once. Just only one or two a day. So mom and the rest could adjust. They always were puzzled when one of them was missing. I was always happy to see my "children" again. I am mom of 60.

Very true..two of them went to their new homes tonight so my mama dog was looking around like ok something's missing here. Another one goes tomorrow and then one next Saturday. The last two we are keeping. My husband and I will keep one and then my parents want to keep one so the mama dog will still get to see those peoples forever...lol. I don't think I could let them all go to their new home on the same day, that would just be heartbreaking for all of us.
