I love to hear about how people met and when u met did you know that he/she was the one straight away? Me and my bf actually met at the bar and I know that people say that relationship that starts in a bar never lasts. I have proven that wrong. We have been together for a year and counting... I know that he is the one for me - however even if I was attracted to him straight away i never saw a lasting relation with him the first few weeks. I had been burned before and I was scared to let someone else in.. I am glad that I eventually did. So, tell me your story...

My bf and I meet through friends. His friend was trying to get wiht my friend so both of us were the tag along friend!! We hated each other at first but we both thought each other was cute. So New Year's 2005 we were all going to a club together and me and him were walking alone, we were actually being nice to each other too!! He bought me a rose from one of those people selling roses on the street. We had a good night out and then a week later I asked his friend for my now bf's number. We didn't know it would last as long as it has, we have been offical since feb.2005!!! Good luck with your relationship and I hope everyting works out for the best!!

My husband and I met in school when we were children . My boyfriend that I was going out with at the time , ended our relationship and my husband now asked me out the same day . I was still very much in love with the guy I had been in a relationship with and didn't want to go out with anyone else and took this as some kind of cruel joke . My husband now asked me out every single day for six months before I ever said yes to him and we have been together ever since .

well, he was introduced to me by a common friend. His friend was courting my friend, and we got introduced. It wasn't love at first sight at all! thought, he was somewhat cute, he has this charisma of somewhat a bit of an arrogant guitarist at that time. Then I got a call from him after a month or so and it started out as a good friends. After 9 years, we got married.

I met my girlfriend over the net, together for a year and counting as well. I must say that meeting girls in bars tends not to last long for me, hehe. Mainly I'm just half drunk then anyways and might like her then but as you spend more time with each other outside from that it always ended up not matching together that well, but I'm not surprised that doesn't count for everybody of course.

My boyfriend and I met online on a singles site, I was already dating someone else at the time and went to the site to close it down and saw his sincere letter to take me to a baseball game, I thought what harm could it cause to attend a baseball game with a nice man, well I had a fabulous time and after the game I broke up with my boyfriend and I started dating my now boyfriend. We celebrated our year together a week ago and have lived together for the last 6 months, he is the most wonderful man that I have ever had the experience to be with and I feel blessed everyday.

My wife and I met on the Union Castle mail ship SA Oranje on the 12 day voyage from UK to Cape Town, South Africa. I was very drunk and sea sick for the first two days which didn't make a very good first impression, haha but it was one big party for the next ten days - great fun but quite exhausting. That was 39 years ago and we are still happily married!!

My wife and I were introduced by my sister. They worked in the same place and my sister had decided that I had been living the single life for long enough and invited me to lunch where she proceeded to introduce me to all the single women in her workplace. I thought one of the girls was really cute and asked her out. Both of us never intended to get serious and we thought it would just be a summer fling type of thing but here we are 11 years later still together.

I met my wife at a coffee shop. I was with a group of my friends and she was with a group of her friends. Some of her friends knew some of my friends and they were talking and we both kind of felt left out so I started talking to her and the next thing I knew we were going out. We've been married almost 10 years now and still going strong. Take care!!

we met back in college. she was the gf of a friend of mine that i recruited in our organization. but as time unfolds, we fell inlove with each other and betrayed the friendship. it was really a disaster. but we fought for our love. it may had started at the wrong foot. but we made sure to stand by it and now we are still happy together and working to make it last.

my guy and i met through a common friend!:) i am actually not that attracted to him the first time we met..:) he isnt my standard! i mean, we have our standards right, i mean, most girls can relate to this..but after knowing him.. i have proven myself wrong and i realized that there is more to him than not meeting the standards ive set. he is just so smart..i cannot deny that. he has sense, he makes me laugh, he is responsible..earning, and domesticated--of sort..hehe weve been together for a year--and counting too!:) and i believe he is the guy for me too..and i pray it's going to be happily everafter!:)

Well, I met my husband first when I was engaged to another man. I met him at work, we worked together. I had a huge crush on him, although I was with my fiance. My crush was more mature then me at the time, and I had NO CHANCE. He eventualy moved away. I went on with my life, had a child, and then one day, he came back to work. His other job had fell through so he had to come back. I still had a huge crush on him. And by this time, my fiance had turned violent and abusive towards me, so I was searching for a way out. I admit, I commited adultry with my crush. I had no intention of falling in love, just a way out of my abusive relationship. I fell in love very soon though, and have been in love ever since, it has been 3 years. He took to my child nicely and is a great father to him, and one of his own. That is my love story. I think it is romantic. A crush for years actually comes true. How sweet.

I actually met my husband on Match.com. We emailed for about 4 weeks before we finally met. We emailed everyday and talked about so many things. By the time I met him I already knew so much about him. It was definitely love at first site. We knew after about 3 months that we were meant to be together. We were married about a year after we met.

Me and my boyfriend met online. We used to chat for 10 hours a day, one time we talked until 7 am (now that's love lmao), I used to really enjoy talking to him, we had so many things in common. I remember the first time when he tried to call me on the phone, I hung up on him a few times lol and he found out. Like 2 months after that we met in person, I was acting like I didn't like him so he didn't talk for a while after that I didn't think he was going to call me back but he texted me and told me he wanted to see him again. So, we went out again and since then we cant be separated from each other. He's a great man, I'm very happy right now, but people say that happiness doesn't last too long, I don't believe in that.

I met my wife in Y.M.. I scolded her and said that she is a gay... Then she fought back and then I said sorry to her... I ask her number at their house...And then I called and said that after 1 week I told her that we will be on a relationship.. And she said ok.. After 1 week were in a relationship but we never see each other yet.. We've seen each other after 3 days.. And now we have a son named James Francis... Until now our relationship is tightly gripped by our son.... Thats our story of my partner...
