When you are cooking do you do this things?

The first time I cook something new i will strictly adhere to the recipe. After that I make a few adjustments to fit my families tastes better. Sometimes I will change the main ingredient because I think a different ingredient might have a better taste. Thats the fun part of cooking you can change things as you go along.

First of all, I don't do very much of the cooking in my house. Believe it or not, my boyfriend does it. He loves to cook. I guess I am a very lucky girl. But he hardly ever sticks to the recipe unless it is a new one.
