I'm very much aware with regards of using disposable diapers for my baby, it's very practical and convenient for all working mom even for mothers staying a home. But for me, I used it for my baby during night time only before going to bed and for the day I let my baby wear shorts. It's summer time and I don't want my baby to suffer diaper rush and infections. Kids might prone to infections now that we experience summer heat here in the Philippines.

i have always used cloth diapers for my children while they were still babies. cotton shorts are fine to use, too. it is good of you to have thought of that. you are right about having limited the use of disposable diapers for nighttime only. they are not that good for babies except when they show the commercials on tv.

hi trinidadvelasco,
Disposable diapers are only designed for traveling and childcare use in a hospital, not for a whole day use while at home.
You've mentioned commercials on TV in which happy babies are shown wearing diapers. Honesty & modesty aside, my baby was ask for a commercial shot with one of the leading diaper brand here in the Philippines. I'm counting on it. What a proud mom,I am!
it's me,
