What unique scrapbooking idea's have you tried ? Where do you get your inspirational idea's from ? How long have you been doing it for and if you haven't tried this , is it something you have ever given any thought to ? Where do you usually buy your products to do up a page ? I got into scrapbooking a few years ago and enjoy it very much . I get all my idea's from silly little things my children have done or idea's I have come across on the internet . I will keep anything that is no longer good if I feel that somehow I can use it in a page to add something to the page as it can be expensive buying different items even from the dollar stores . My favortie page I did up was a page that does not even have any of my children on it . It was a page that talks about how children grow up way to fast and before we know it our baby is no longer our baby , on the page I put a print that I did up in ink of my daughter's foot to show before she could walk and the page talks about how much a child learns in their first year . It was my own unique page that I have done up that may other's that have seen it have said it was their favorite as it expresses how we need to spend as much time with our children today . What idea's have you done up that other's were inspired by ?

I love to scrap! I have many scrapbooks and each one is unique to the way the pictures are displayed. I have done this for years. I love to cut my pictures into various shapes and put them on the page trying to make it as appealing as I can while telling a story with them. I use various colors of archival ink. I have some books that are of our vacations and some of just family that seem to be at the same time and place having fun together. I love to take pictures and put them into scrapbooks.

I even have one of my dog's that I have had through out the year's, yes I took picture's of my dog's that I had, don't every one. I still have more to do as I still have picture's to put in scrapbook's.

I love scrapbooking, I started 2 years ago, when I decided to keep a scrapbook of memories of my new relationship, and new puppy. I now have 5 scrapbooks going, one each for his profession and mine, our scrapbook together, which I had to carry over to a new one! lol it got too full. One of my life and I've started one for his. He also wants me to start one for his station to have that they can keep adding to through the years. I also got both of my daughters into scrapbooking, and they love it. And from that I started my own business recently. My daughters and I are constantly seeing things that we can use in our scrapping, that wouldn't normally be thought of for that purpose.

thanks - love this post of yours. very meaningful about how your favourite page was centred around the baby foot. children do grow up really fast. and guess scrapbooking is meant to slow that process down a bit. sort of freeze the moments on paper. Now that there are so many pretty embellishments to add, it just makes the memories literally beautiful! For me, i get inspiration from seeing other people's layouts. Some of them are simply gorgeous. And I love how no two layouts are ever completely the same. they feature individual memories, and individual creativity. And of course, photos that are unique to you! I like to scrapbook cos it combines my two loves of photography and craft. Only thing is the acid-free materials and tools can be quite expensive at times. Kinda takes the 'scrap' out of scrapbooking. Previously scrapbooks were made of spare materials from random sources, like odds and ends. Now, it's mostly brand new stuff bought from the shops!

I absolutely love to do scrapbooking! I belong to a couple different scrapbooking message boards, one that I am very involved in. You get to meet alot of talented ladies. I often visit the gallery to see what others have done and to get some inspiration and motivation.

Galleries are great. I would love to submit some of my work, but I have trouble keeping track of what I purchased from where. Sites always seem to want that. I guess I would be upset if I saw something I wanted to buy and could fine the place that sells it.

I started as a cardmaker four years ago. I just recently started taking my pictures of vacations and putting them in a scrapbook. I've also made a couple of special ones. My BFF went to the Master's Golf Tournament and gave me the pictures to make her an album. I recently went to my neice's wedding and will be making her an album.
