do you believe that "men" and "women" are equal?

Men and Women are equal. And Women believe in that. And Some Women Are Inconsistent. I live in the Philippines. Women around here are well aware of the equality of Men and Women. Women can do what Men can do. Women can even be at par or be above men in some fields. I do ride the bus. Men and Women are equal. But women in my country don't expect themselves to offer the seat to a standing man the same way that a sitting man should offer his seat to a standing woman. women believe in equality but when it comes to fights, women shouldn't be fought by men because it's not a gentleman thing to do. but they do believe in equality. they believe in equality, but they also believe that they should be treated more nicely by men. we're equal! how come i can't have my seat when i'm standing? huhuhuhuhu....:(

Yes, I believe they are equal as people. However, I don't believe physically and emotionally we are equal. Men have much more physical strength then women, and women I think are in certain areas emotionally stronger. Because of our female cycles, and our hormones constantly being turned up side down every month, we have had to learn to handle things emotionally, or we wouldn't survive. So yes, I do think as people we are, but sexually no.

I do believe that we are all equal. In my opinion though woman are still not treated as equal in all situations. For example certain jobs. I know that woman have a harder time getting a job in what is considered a man's domain. Woman really have come a long way but I am still surprised at how some men still don't view us as equal as them. I seriously had a man tell me that I should go to the kitchen where I belong. Yah right. Anways I don't know if this is what you were asking when you ment equal but I still don't belive that woman are viewed by some anyways as an equal to man.
