I'm not evil. I'm just contemplating. :)
It just crossed my mind a few months back. I was thinking what if once and for all the Devil appeared to me and offered me the contract to buyout my puny soul. What would I ask for?
After reading the fine prints at the bottom of the contract (it was so tiny I had to use a microscope to read it) I wished money and for all women not related to me to go run after me and ask for my love. I had to be his advocate, so I asked that my life be spared for 200 years before he puts me into his soul collection drawer.
If and only If you just arrived at the conclusion to give the Devil what he wanted, what would you ask for in return?
now put away that cross because i told you i'm not that evil. i was just asking!

I guess one would have to believe in the devil as the ruler of a place called hell for this to be relevant. Since it is a hypothetical question, I will say that I am not exactly sure what I would ask for in return for my soul. Maybe money, power and a long life to enjoy that. But, then I realize, that can already be had with hard work. Seems like we are always looking for an easy way, huh? Does the devil really have that much control over each of our lives that he/she alone can grant us our wishes?

Wow, I'm pathetic. I was thinking about this, and not a single thing I could think of to ask for was really for myself. Things like "no more child abuse" popped into my head first, because I was abused as a child, and all the other things that followed basically are the same thing: for other people not to have to experience the bad things that I have.
But for me? Asking for something for myself? That's so much harder! Perhaps an amount of time when nothing in my body hurt, a number of breaths even that didn't cause pain in my chest. Yes, I think that would be it. And perhaps a fling with Angelina Jolie. =p
Of course, I wouldn't really be selling my soul anyway, but the question was hypothetical.

Well before reading this I don't think I would have known what to ask for. But now I do. I would say the same thing you said. It seems to me that you have though about this for some time.

That reminds me of a joke I once heard. The devil approaches this man and offers him all the riches of the world for his eternal soul. the guy says, "no thank you, I had a better offer." So no matter how much the devil asks you, it is not worth it. You would lose and the devil is a liar.

Devil: Man, I'm powerful, but not even St. Peter can put you on the roll without the Big Guy's permission. And even if Pete does that both of you will go to my place! you're tricking me - i could use men like you to go as one of mysubcontractors..

LOL, "all" the women not related to you? Really? I have a feeling this would make you really unhappy, really fast. And somewhere, the devil would be enjoying a great laugh at your expense. Like they always say, be careful what you wish for. And then, the devil is very intelligent, and understands human beings pretty well (even though he despises our puny earth-bound selves).

I would tell him no my soul cannot be bought at any cost. But the devil is tricky he knows already what you would want and bribe with it. But I still cannot be bought. I just don't live my life that way.

I would ask to temporarily have his kind of power to roam free for a while, once he gives me that power i would use it against him unexpectedly and kill him then i would become the next satan and give him a good name rather than a bad and use my powers for good calling myself some kind of waky super hero name

i think i would ask him to let my friends be...
he can have me on the cost of my lovedones
and of course happyness and love.... and a livetime of money so that i would never have to worrie bout money again, i don't have to be rich, or a millionair but i would love it that if i would have to pay somewhere that i would have to worrie if there's enough money on my account.
