I kid you not, last night I went out after the patient went to sleep and left her son hjere to handle her for a while (he didn't handle much, I had fed and washed her before I left. 5 1/2 hours later when I returned she was still asleep in the exact same position on her bed as she had been when I left, so I doubt that she ever woke while I was out. Her son agrees that he did not have to do anything but leave his door open all night. What a hardship!)
This morning when I get back, my bedroom door was ajar, he was in hi8s room with the door wide open (which he almost never does, even when he is supposed to be keeping an "ear" on her. When I got home he wanted to know if I had bought any drugs while I was out. He then started demanding that I give him some pot, which is the only drug other than his mother's prescription medications that he would have found inside my room. There was also only enough to tell me if someone had snuck into my supply, which he had not.) He was getting pretty pesty about it so I sacrificed one of my last two J's and blazed with him. By 6:15 he was taking swigs of brandy straight out of the bottle by 8:30 am he was luckily headed back to bed. However the patient that I care for, his mother, woke from a solid "dead " sleep at 6:15 am requesting Boody Mary's
We don't even have the ingredients for a Mary virgin or bloody and as usual her son refused to go to the store to get the ingredients that were needed for the drink. She realized while I was in the kitchen mixing her a screwdriver, and shaking my head trying to figure out how this day was going to go with them both tanking uop at sunrise. Normally she doesn't have an alchoholic beverage until 5 pm or later. So I told her that she was not getting another drink until after 5.
So I wonder what type of hyjinks these two have in store for me that they need to get started so early on fortifying themselves. What kind of day do you think this early morning boozing will get started for me? Do you think that it is going to be another rough day? Or do you think that they will both succumb to early naps?

The lady has since passed away, but the way that she and her son used to drink was extreme. And when she got full she would get mean.
