What kind of animals could represent the different elements of nature?

My friend's two kids were watching the Avatar on Nickeloden the other day and I thought about how they use chakra like on Naruto (just in different ways) and follow the elements. I got to thinking about my summoning animal discussion and I wondered what animals you think could represent the diffeent elements of fire, water, air, and earth.

Of course that's only a third (ie: there's another eight) of the seals so they could be varied slightly even from that. Unless they decide to go into those fun extra elements like metal and wood. But good job with that I forgot all about the official hand seals.

Earth: Mole Water: Fish in general. Fire: This is the only real hard one. I'll say Dragon, unless we can't use mythological type creatures, then I have no idea. Air: Birds in General
