What's your favorite works by Bach?

As this is such a hard to task, I thought it would be okay to let you guys and girls choose by instrumentations, such as "the Choirs works", "the violin partitas", etc. I guess my favorite works are... the Cello Suites, the Violin Partitas and the Harpsichord Concerti. I'll have different ones tomorrow, tho. =P What about you?

My favorite Bach pieces are the Brandenburg Concertos, especially the 3rd movement. It's genius. I always feel like I'm in a forest when I listen to that piece. With Bach it's very difficult to choose favorites. His music is divine and awesome.

One of my favorites in JS Bach's works is the Brandenburg Concertos. Wow! the cello & double bass sends me really to cloud 9! The choir works, Christmas Oratorio, St Mathew Passion and the St John Passion. God knows who to send when it comes to music.

I like - Bach-Marcello concert ( Original by Marcello - Oboe concerto) It's very nice music. Music for heart :) It's not usually for Bach (Bach music ussualy is strong , classic and with ''standart'' harmonics :) Ok. Good luck to you and enjoy music :)

My favorite peice by Bach is "Air on a G String" He isn't really one of my favorite composers - but I do like that peice.

Impossible question. I like all of his work, but if pressed, I'd go for the Brandenburg concertos.

My favorites are the Brandenburg Concertos. My most favorite one of all is #3 Allegro. I play violin and have played this one quite a few times. I have also played #2. I like to listen to them all, especially the Allegro movements.

this is a hard question !! but about his Chamber Works, i adore these sonatas of violin & harpsichord, flute & harpsichord .
