I remember I wanted to be a proffesional wrestler when I grow up, but then I started losing interest in watching wrestling as I got older. Now my dream is to become a writer and I'm on my way to making that dream true. But it feels so weird to me since I was so fascianted with wrestling when I was a kid but now I hardly care about it. What did you want to be when you were young?

There were so many things I wanted to be when I grew up. I wannted to be a teacher, nurse, writer, singer and even a nun! Wow have things changed. When I went to college I changed my Major three times. First I was going to be a teacher, then an Exceptional Ed Teacher, but then I decided on a Social Worker. I worked for many years as a Social Worker until I had my second child. I didn't want to be away from her. I was so blessed to find a telemarketing job. I still did some Social Work part time. Then I got sick and became disabled. So now I help others in different ways. I guess that was a pretty big theme in all of my "job choices". I'm happy that I can help others by being a mentor and an advocate.

Wow! You've had quite the time making decisions, didn't you? With so many things to choose from, I can only imagine how hard it was to pick the right thing. Though what surprised me the most was the 'Nun' job! You didn't know whether you wanted to be a singer or a nun? That's kind of funny (Tom Cruise had to make the same decision when he was young. He wanted to be either an actor or a priest! But things worked out fine for him, right?) Sorry to hear about your disability but then that's another beauty of the internet. We're all the same on the World Wide Web.
