I remember watching it as a kid! I will still watch it now, but I don't have it anymore. =( When Ricki Lake was over weight and wow that movie is old. lol Does it bring back memories for you? It sure does for me! Did you like the movie?

OMG! heather! lol ... i remember us watching that as kids lol, remember i would always get up and dance. I had that movie til my junior year of high school and i too k it to our dance class to watch it since it had alot of dancing in it and never got it back lol i meant to .... just didnt remember to ! ... you know one of those "o ill get it later kind of things" .... yea later never came, so im gonna see if mom will get for us on dvd! :D lol thats so our movie ! :P

I remember the old Hairspray with Ricki Lake and thought it was good; Divine(he's gone now)played the mother that John Travolta is now playing and the Late Ruth Brown(a legend in her own right"Mamma He Treats Your Daughter Mean")played Motormouth; I haven't watched the new version, but I am sure it is just as nice and look forward to seeing it.
