All the crazies are out in force today!!

I am a 911 dispatcher and I work midnight shift. I always get my share of wacky people calls, but on my way home today, boy oh boy. I wear a uniform, so I have a Police patch on my shoulder. I was driving by a man standing on the side of the road drinking a beer (at 8 am in the morning mind you) He decided to flick me the middle finger until I couldn't see him anymore. I guess it was the police patch, I didn't do anything to the guy, so it really boggled me. Then I get to a stop sign and the nose of my car was just a little in front of the sign. A lady coming the opposite way stopped dead and started yelling at me to back up. I said sorry,and motioned for her to go ahead. She sat right there and refused to move. All the while making faces and gestures. I mouthed to her not to be ridiculous and to go. She just sat there!! Her daughter was in the car, she was probably 20 or so, and the woman at least 50!! The daughter looked like she wanted to crawl under her seat from embarrassment. Finally this woman backed up 10 feet and told me to go. I was tired, so I just went. She then whipped out behind me and started to follow me!! I was never so happy to get home in my life. I'd like to know where these people come from?? Anyone got any "crazy people" stories they'd like to share??
