Is computer ruling the world now a days?

I'm embarassed to say that the computer is definitely a big deal in my life. I couldn't do my work without one and the minute I get home, I plop back down in front of mine and play for hours. I get very little else done because of the internet. It's my own fault, of course, but it's my way of staying "connected" with everyone and everything and it's my enjoyable personal time! I doubt very seriously I would ever willingly give it up. However, there have been times when I've been away from the computer for a week or so and have managed to survive just fine. LOL
