How long do you spend each day walking your dog/s?

Walking is good exercise for people and therapeutic too. Of course, a dog needs to get out at least once every day rather than just in the garden or yard. Our cocker spaniel is 12 years old now so his usual length of walk is 1/2 to 3/4 hour during the day and 10/15 mins before bedtime. If we are on a family outing it is longer but then he is really tired. Are your dogs still young and bouncey?

My dogs get a walk every two-three weeks. We have a big fenced in yard and they go out there and run and play with each other a few times a day and that wears them out. I have one dog who could care less to go for walks (would much prefer RIDES) and another dog that would walk all day long if we'd let her. Now that the weather is nicer, I hope to take them for more walks because it's good for them and good for me and will get me away from the computer more!
