Pro-life doesn't mean anti-woman

Good afternoon and let me introduce myself. I'm a pro-lifer who has been labeled anti-woman, because I believe that a man should have rights over his unborn baby. News flash: Because I'm a not a feminist it does not make me anti-woman. Because I'm pro-life and believe in the right to life and the father's right to choose life for his unborn baby that does not make me anti-woman. I have the same goals in mind as my mother yesterday. I want just as much to raise and care for my children in a healthy home environment. Never do I feel that I'm one up on man. I believe that "“Woman was taken out of man; not out of his head to top him, nor out of his feet to be trampled underfoot; but out of his side to be equal to him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved.” I believe that rape and any form of abuse is wrong. Because I have views that may differ from Today's feminist and I don't believe that a woman should have the right to take power over a joint decision by aborting a life made by both man and woman, yet at the same time demand that men should pay child support for a child he does not want does not make me anti-woman. Please do not sell me on the pathetic notion that anyone– who is pro-life is anti-woman. Pro-life is not anti-woman, it is pro-unborn child. Get it, got it, thanks! Rant over!

You go Swtrose, you are right. Men and women are equal in every right. It takes two to get a woman pregnant and the man should have every right in the decision of whether to keep the unborn fetus or to abort it. I do not understand today's feminist. Guess I am just getting old, feminists used to be women wanting to be equal to men, whether it in pay, job, and status. Now, if you take a man's side on anything you are considered anti-woman. Please, women have more rights than men do, especially when it comes to children.

Thank you! That is what I was trying to say. Just because I defend the rights of a man it sure as heck does not make me anti-woman. I just used abortion as an example.

In tihis day and age there are so many variables about accidental pregnacy and who should do what that it si impossible to make hard and fast rules but abuse physical or verbal is totally wrong can really mess peopel up and rape no matter what the person who rapes shoudl be locked up and left there till they expire. They leave there victims with life sentences in there mind they should serve one with the life too and be forced to wrok and the money goes to the victim or victims.

I am a woman, I gave my infant up for adoption years before I met and married my husband and was unable to carry a child to term after marriage. I had one miscarriage and possibly more. So I conclude that pro-abortionists are anti-me and anti-infertile couples. We adopted two bsbies, yet they were out of the infant stage so that meant that was no miracle pregnancy happening to me and the mother had been raped but she did not consider abortion. In that case, the father was not the type of man anyone wanted around the babies, but not all men are like that. They deserve to care for the infant both parents created and if they are unable to care for the infant, to find him or her a good home. There are also crisis centers to help unwed mothers care for their bsbies for those who want to keep them.

Good for you! I love that quote. I think that it`s GREAT that this has even become an issue. Look at the way some men are stepping up and are so willing to take responsibility for their actions that they want to raise a baby that the girl doesn`t! Way to go, men! Ladies, let`s not let them out-do us in the compassion and maturity departments! Plus, let`s do away with double-standards like Swtrose says! Swtrose, just you keep encouraging women to make good choices and save a life!
