We really should be conscious about our health, we should be aware of the body's well being.. have you noticed or observed anything that happens to your body or health when you are experiencing stress? Well, there are those people who are into deppression when under stress and i think that's the worst thing to happen to anyone who is under stress.. As for me, i have noticed that during times when i have pressures from work or pressures from activities in organizations, relationship problems, or other personal problems.. my skin allergies come out. Also sometimes, when under stress, i get hormonal imbalance and my menstruation usually delays from 1 to 2 months. I am aware and conscious about this and i really hope i can overcome this problem. Anyone of you who experienced the same? What is your strategy to overcome stress and health problems brought about it?

I am non-stop attacked by stress factors:-( I have problems with my sleeping, my concentration and memory, my blood pressure and sugar are too low.But is still dont want to visit the doctor and just try to find information about alternative methods as Reiki,Aurveda, aromaterapy and etc.

Yes, those were really the usual effects of stress. That is why we have health problems during stress because of we lack sleep, some even dont have the apettite to eat or others tend to eat more than what their body could take. And the unfortunate reality is that we really cant avoid those stress factors, we are faced by them almost everyday of our lives. Well, i am with you in your struggle to fight stress. I just hope you really decide for yourself to take time out to relax and relieve yourself from stress, or work or pressures. Good luck to us!

stress - women face special stresses. social support can be a great reliever of stress.
when it comes to stress relievers and healthy lifestyle choices , women faces special stresses and have unique needs.social support , i think can be a great stress reliever. health problems come out when a person is under stress. if i say of my own , i face face in sudden gain in weight which makes me depresses more than anything.friends also can help us in many ways but i think your life partner is the best to support you in those difficult times. i devoted a lot of time in exercising and yoga. my hubby supported me fully otherwise i was gone, gone means a one case. i hained weight, stopped talking to people, stopped going out, no interaction at all. but then he took me and made me do all things that he thought could help me. it because of him that today i m sitting and responding back to discussions of other friends on a same topic which i dealt. it was a very very hard time, i dont wanna remember it back again, but the more i remember the more n more n more i love my hubby. i love him a lot. you really need someone in that period, u cannot deal the problem on ur own.

I am happy to know that you have a very supporting and caring husband. Not all of us have the same partner like you have. :)Your husband knows that you should take good care of your health and should not give in to depression or get yourself under stress. I agree that exercise and self-discipline helps in overcoming stress. Yoga, for example, is not only a physical exercise but also some kind of meditation which relaxes your mind and spirit. It is definitely a stress-reliever. I just hope that i could exercise more regularly coz i really feel and see how my body reacts well under stress when i have sufficient exercise. Unfortunately, i get lazy sometimes and neglected to do my regular exercise. That's why my body haven't dealt with stress well recently resulting in the onset of health problems. :) Good luck to us and thank you for your post.

I remebered that acne broke out on my face a few weeks prior to my wedding. I guess I was too stressed out with the wedding preparations. I was so worried that the acne would not clear up in time but thank God ,it did! Stress also does affects my menstrual cycle.... it will either come a few days earlier or later. If not, it is normally a 28 day cycle:)

I have known people who have ulcer attacks whenever they are under stress. Its also dangerous since when if its not overcome, it really could develop into severe or more serious ulcer.. it may lead to cancer of the intestine. I hate to say that but it is reality. I hope you really decide for yourself to do activities that could relieve you from stress. Good luck to us!
