Human or animal? How can I tell?

My husband was digging a hole for a storm celler and found a bone and I'm thinking it is human but don't know how to tell. Maybe you can help or know a web site that can. I am going to try and upload a picture of it. Thanks either way.

I'm not sure myself. I'd have to see the whole thing to really make a decision. That and I'm really not a good judge at these things. Might have to take it to someone.
