dog liver diease is it deadly ? how,where,when

I am needing some information on liver diesease in dogs. What are the symptoms. how did this dog get this? is this a deadly.is there medications to treat or cure this? is he contagious? Is he in pain ? Can anyone share their expieriences with us here.
I always though that your vet claims its liver diease when they cant figure out the correct problems. does it get passed down from the parents? would the entire litter have it?

Wow...everything is falling into place. I say that because I've responded to your discussion regaurding Network Marketing. The company that I work with also has a line of products for the canine's well being. It's by the same company that's recognized by the New York Police Mounted unit for the equine line and healthy aide for humans.
