I have had this problem off and on my whole life. I have found if I eat chocolate or drink sweet beverages in the evening before bed, I will have trouble sleeping. Also if I have a problem on my mind that I cannot figure out I will have trouble sleeping. I now avoid chocolate in the evening and limit soda intake. I try to drink more water. Some people find drinking a glass of milk before bed helps also. If I am having back or leg pain I will take Tylenol PM 1/2 hour before bed and sometimes this will help. My boss takes a walk in the evening and then a shower before bed and this relaxes her. I hope you start sleeping better soon.
