I had this old mickey mouse record player. I had two albums when I was really really young. One was yurtle the turtle and the other was Teddy Bear's picnic. I must have played teddy bear's picnic millions of times. We were cleaning out the basement of my parents house not long ago and came across the record. It sure brought back memories. I just love that song, it reminds me of innocence lost.

Okay well I see a lot of people are remembering nursery rhymes. But the song that sticks out in my head is "I love rock and roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. It came out about the time I was born and my parents tell me when I was about 3 years old I would dance around to this song all day long in the living room. My dad even said that most of the time when he would get home from work that was what I was doing. To this day that is one of my favorite songs. What's even funnier is my daughter who is now 3 loves the song also and does the same thing I used to do. Guess it runs in the family. LOL!

There are a few - My mom had this tape she made us to listen to when we went to sleep. The only song from it that I remember is Chim Chimeny from Mary Poppins. Other songs that remind me of my childhood - She Bop by Cyndi Lauper (my cousin and I used to sing it all the time - and no we didn't know what it meant) and two other songs - Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler and Take My Breath Away by Berlin.

That stupid song "Don't Worry, Be happy." I used to worry a lot when I was a kid (still do) and around that time this song came out. Then people would sing it to me. It would annoy the crap out of me.
