I gave my husband a deadline!

I do think it is good to set goals. I try to set a goal for myself daily and monthly. So I don't think you are being a meanie at all. How far away is he from the payout? Is a lot or a little? I missed payout last month by 40 cents, and then the first day of May I made it over the 10 dollar payout. So I know I have already made payout for the month of May. I am shooting for 20 by the end of May. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your husband. I hope he has a safe trip and returns safely as well. God Bless!!!

You may not like my reply. lol I think its good to set goals, but other people cannot set those goals for us. We need to set goals for ourself and they stay motivated to meet those goals.

I definitely think it is a good idea to set goals. I set goals for my partner when it came to posting here and getting payout for her and it took her over a year to actually get the payout of $10 which is just insane. I kept setting goals for her because she was so close and she just never posted here much until she was only a few cents away and then she decided to start posting here to get payout.

I think its good to set goals. I have really been slacking-- I have not made the $10 payout for the last two months! 2 months! That's pretty bad! If he posts a lot he should have no trouble hitting the goal by the 26th.

Although it is good to set goals. I think some things might hinder one doing so. If he is getting ready to leave for Saudi, I would think that he has other things on his mind than myLot. And even though myLot serves as a distraction...it might be a unreasonable goal for him to accomplish. I am sorry for disagreeing with you and I hope my differing opinion does not earn me a negative because it is only my opinion.

I think the goal you set was reasonable. He still has almost 3 weeks, so that shouldn't be too hard to reach. I try to set goals for myself as well. My husband doesn't do mylot, or I would set a goal for him, too. :) My husband and I both usually need goals, or we don't get too far. I guess neither of us is motivated enough on our own.

Hi there again 4cuteboys.....In my Opinion I think its great to set goals, I think everyone should use this great tool, It really does seem to get us motivated more than if we didn't have a set time or day. Good plan, but aren't you afraid of losing him to the net? Don't you want him to pay attention to you?
