I sleep with a fan on every night...winter or summer. I just really need to have air circulating around me when I sleep, or else it's far too stuffy for me. In the winter I just point it so it's not blowing directly on me. And in the summer, I crank it up as much as I can to keep from being too hot. I also really like he "white noise" that a fan can provide. My current apartment building is very old, and there are lots of sounds...from people walking, to playing music to just general "settling" types of sounds. The noice from the fan pretty much drowns all those out and helps me to sleep much better. I think I'm a fan junkie in fact!

Yes it helps drown out noise from others. My fiance has to have fan on to help him sleep mostly the noise and sometimes depending on weather it help him like me from waking up sweating. I am at the age where I have those hot flashes. I will be cool and wrap in blanket then I wake up sweating and needing air. Fan helps!

We have a ceiling fan above our bedroom and sometimes we do,depending on how stuffy it is .When you get older you have temp changes in your body as i have found out heehee, and now i am going through one of those "im cold" stages...So lately we have not used the ceiling fan.Mostly we use it all summer but with this crazy weather we are having it gets cool, hot, wet,so now i cannot use it every night.

No, I stay in a hot and humid country, having the fan spining does not help, I will still feel very uncomfortable when I get up. I must have my air con on every night to have a good night sleep and fresh in the morning.

My hubby has to have the fan on no matter what the weather is. I personally could do without it cause it makes my allergies go haywire and in the morning I'm all stuffy and can hardly breathe.

I sleep with my fan on in the summer time when it is very hot outside and humid. It makes it easier for me to sleep when it is hot and stuffy. I do not sleep with a fan on when it was cold outside.

Oh yes, the fan and the air conditioner. The cooler the better for me too.

I cant stand to have a fan on me when Im sleeping. Now my husband is the opposite. I have ceiling fans and I keep them going when its hot out even when I have the air on because its suppose to circulate the air.

We have the ceiling fan in our bedroom on year round. And now that it is getting a little warmer, I have another fan I turn on to help circulate more air. It also drowns out some of the noise of outside and of hubby's snoring. LOL

Unfortunatly yes! I don't really care for the fan to be on and if it has to be on then I like it to be on low or maybe med. But my husband has to have it on high. It drives me crazy because I get cold really easy.

I currently live in a house with no air conditioning, and no ceiling fans at all upstairs. For the HOA, we are not allowed to install a window AC unit, either. So it gets HOT upstairs in the summer, and the only way to sleep is with a box fan. We put it in the window when we can. But I hate sleeping with a fan on. It gives me a sore throat to breathe in cold air blowing over me, and I hate having a breeze on my feet like that. Thankfully we are moving soon into a better house and we won't have this problem.
