Do you eat canned spam?

I just found a great bargain on Spam. How do you fix it to eat? The only way I know of is slice it thin and fry it. My mama used to just slice it and eat a sandwich of it without cooking it, I cannot eat it that way. Do you have any other suggestions on how to use it?

No, I had it only once, years ago. It was fried and made into a sandwich. I've heard of people using it in casseroles.

That is the only way I had eaten it up until now. We would slice it thin and fry it for sandwiches. Then I fried it and had eggs, gravy and biscuits. That went over good too.

You could use it in place of ham in any casserole.

We tried your suggestion for supper and it was great! We cut it up in cubes and fried it a little bit before adding it to the eggs and it was very tasty! Thanks for the suggestion!

I found a great site called WikiHow. It gives instructions on how to do things. One of the how to do is a spam musubi, sort of a snack type of spam sushi. It is said to be a favorite snack in Hawaii. Go to www.WikiHow.com/Make-a-Spam-Musubi I haven't made one yet but want to hear how it came out.
