I went camping over the weekend, and got a bunch of mosquito bites! What do you do to keep them from being itchy? I've started putting some lavender beeswax lotion on them, and that seems to help for a little while.

Not scratch Hold a steaming hot towel or something against it Apply an anti-acidic like mylanta Those do the trick for me, either one of them.

An antacid! That's a very interesting solution! I wonder why that works? :) The hot towel is also a good idea that I have heard before.

Everytime I get mosquito bites, I apply a small amount of efficascent oil on the irritated area. This proves to be very effective and soothing at the same time because efficascent oils are warm oils that relaxes the skin. However, I think preventing the mosquitoes from biting you would be best. On that note I'd recommend neem tree oils and that would be perfect!! Mosquitoes hate neem oils.
