Help! I have become a bug light!

No I don't glow in the dark and make zapping noises. Poisonious bugs just like to bite and or sting me for some reason.
The other night I got stung by a centipede. I didn't even know they could sting people. I was laying in bed all nice and peaceful like, wasn't bothering anyone, then ouch! When I first got stung it hurt, then it bruned for several hours before finally going away. One of the most painful bites I ever had. We caught him and threw him out.
Not too long ago I got bit by a brown recluse. In the same general area as the centipede got me. I didn't feel the bite at frist, it looked like a mosquito bite. The next day it started itching and getting bigger. Got to about the size of a quarter. Then it just kept growing and getting more and more painful. By the 5th day after the bite I was in a lot of pain and the swollen area was hot to the touch. I went to the hospital and had to have it lanced. I now have a scar that you can stick the tip of your finger in and will prolly have it forever because of the tissue that became necrotic.
So now I am faced with a delima, how to turn off the bug light. I am the only one in the house it seems that is getting bit. The spider bit me while I was outside but still. I am the only one getting attacked!!! Any suggestions would be helpful. And before you say it I am not going to live in a bubble lol.

Woa, man, that sucks! I have the opposite of you, but with dogs. Dogs won't bite me for an unknown reason. Maybe it's my look on their eyes. Of course, if I put my hands on their mouth they'll bite me. But accidentaly, none bit me. Never.
About your problem... Try to put some body repelent on yourself. It'll help you. That might solve your problem.

I always wear bug spray when I am outside. It's bad enough I smell like bug spray when I am outside, I don't want to smell like it in the house too! I can't even wear perfume most of the time anymore because of it. I don't want to have to wear bug spray to bed. My fiance prolly wouldn't like that much.

Well then, you should just put some spray against bugs IN the house (you'll find some in the market that don't have that strong odor).

We have had professionals come in and spray the house. Where we live it doesn't get quite hot enough to run the air but too hot to keep the house closed. Even with screens, with the kids running in and out and the cat comming in and out it makes it hard to keep out all the bugs.

It is not really know why some people get bitten and others don't, people suspect it is taste or smell or something which attracts them although not sure. But you can try to wear long clothing as much as possible, also put on anti bug salves and such spray it on your boots and the ones you can apply to the skin do so.
Same preparations as you'd take to go into the amazon and other rain forest basically.

I do that when I go outside now even if its only in my own back yard. We were practice shooting our bows when the spider got me. The centipede was a different story, that sucker got me shortly after I got out of the shower. The only thing we can think of is he got in through the window, and fell off the ceiling onto the bed. I really don't want to have to get dressed like that to go to bed!
